I superimposed various historical portraits, paintings and Joseph Smith's origional Death Mask over this new photo, a newly discovered photograph that many believe may be of Joseph Smith, Jr. the founding prophet of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (otherwise known as LDS or Mormons. I find the comparison pretty striking. The Mormon church neither confirms nor denies that this is Smith's portrait discovered in the Reorganized (RLDS) church archives.
